I loved photography as a kid. I kept disposable cameras around and toyed around with my Dad’s 35mm camera often. In college I started to carry around a pocket sized Sony Cybershot, (mostly to make photos at parties). More than a decade later, I picked up my first full frame DSLR and dived right in to landscapes and astrophotography.

These days, photography serves as a hobby and passion more so than anything else. It’s a tool for storytelling. While landscapes and astro images were my first loves when I picked up my first DSLR, I enjoy portrait photography and street photography just the same. I believe there’s a story to tell behind every face as well as every place.

I grew up in Chickasha, OK, after being born in Dickinson, ND. I lived most all of my life in Oklahoma up until moving to Denver, Colorado at the end of 2021. After spending almost 2 years in Colorado, I was called back to the Great Plains and moved back to Oklahoma.
